‘American Idol’s’ Crystal Bowersox to release an album

American Idol’s Crystal Bowersox may not have won the whole shebang but she will have an album coming out this year. That is because the dreadlocked mama has gotten a record deal with 19 Recordings/Jive Records for what E! Online is describing as “her bluesy folk rockin’ debut album” to be released later this year.

Crystal Bowersox said about the deal to E!Online: “I’m really grateful to be given this opportunity to make an album and let people hear my music and I’m looking forward to working with all of the folks at 19/Jive.

Many of us ‘American Idol’ fans are excited to hear the album that she puts out as it is sure to be soulful, trendy and full of life. Hopefully, she also sells a lot of albums and doesn’t have a disappointing start like ‘American Idol’ winner Lee DeWyze did with his singles.
