Christina Aguilera is one of the new hosts of ‘The Voice’

Christina Aguilera has recently been named as one of the new hosts of NBC’s ‘The Voice’ along with Adam Levine of ‘Maroon 5′ and Cee lo Green of  ‘F*** You’ fame. Carson Daly will be hosting the show, which will be one of those unique shows finding singers with talent.

“Her journey as an artist, who started so young in the music business, will be an inspiration to the talent she coaches on the show,” said Paul Telegdy, executive vice president of alternative programming at NBC and Universal Media Studios.

“To be given the opportunity to help shape new artists’ careers and mentor them to see their dreams come to fruition is a task I welcome with open arms,” Christina Aguilera said in a press release.

Christina Aguilera has been getting a lot of bad press lately for her performances at the Superbowl, and the Grammy’s and her recent dui stop with new boyfriend. Hopefully this new show ‘The Voice’ can get her back on track. ‘The Voice’ will premiere on NBC on April 26th at 9pm on NBC.
