‘The Book Thief’ by Markus Zusak is an amazing book. And many people are wondering when it will become a movie. While the film rights to the book may have been optioned to a production company, there is no information on IMDB about it being made into a movie.
‘The Book Thief‘ is a power, emotional, and captivating book. One that people of all ages can enjoy. The author Markus Zusak tells a story about WWII that is different, yet captures the complex, poignant and subtle harshness and pain that all of those experienced during the war, whether Jewish or not. ‘The Book Thief’ has a protagonist that is unique, yet perfect for this story. His name is death.
‘The Book Thief‘ is a brilliant book that has almost perfect ratings on Amazon.com, over 1000 people have rated the book and it sits at 4 1/2 stars. Children and adults alike love the book and many fans have created their own collages of movies and placed them on Youtube, hoping to instigate a fervour in the movie studios to finally make ‘The Book Thief’ into a movie.
