Don’t let it be said that Kate Gosselin doesn’t know how to work hard. She will be using her kids Spring Break to take get good footage for her TV show. I’m guessing that she doesn’t consider the child support she is getting from Jon Gosselin’s new construction job to be enough. Btw, Kate Gosselin also has a book on sale titled “I Just Want You To Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith and Family.”
Fox411 reports that Kate Gosselin is reportedly marching her eight young children to Food City in Kingsport, TN to host a food drive that will be taped for her TLC show, “Kate Plus 8.” “Kate saw this as the perfect opportunity to film, even if it is (the kids’) spring break.”
“Kate and her kids will be at out here at Food City (on March 9th) at 10am,” a source at Second Harvest Food Bank explained to HollywoodLife.com. “We’re really excited to have them helping out for such a good cause.”
I guess helping out at a food drive is indeed a noble cause but who knows if these kids will really appreciate that or if they will just be fed up of having all the cameras around them?

Unfortunately, Kate Gosselin has excessively filmed her children for TV. Six almost seven years is emotional child abuse! While the Food Bank is needing support, Kate Gosselin demanding a police escort, having the entire event filmed for public relations purposes (her PR), having a former presidential body guard who gets paid “BIG” bucks, other network handlers and support staff that get paid, air fare transportation for all of the Gosselins and support staff,and not to mention Kate will earn $250,000. So really, her appearance at the Food Bank is a sham. In summary, all of the money and expense it took for the network to get the dysfunctional Gosselin clan to TN could have been put to better use — like giving a big fat check to the TN Food Bank. Let Kate support the kids and not the kids support themselves and Kate. For what is Kate’s marketable entertainment talent? If you know please post it!
No, the kids support Kate. No kids, no show.
And, if this is a “reality” show that is supposed feature realistic life events, what Jon does for a living is more real than what Kate does. Nothing wrong with an honest day’s work. Millions of Americans aspire to it everyday. This TV show is now about *staged* events to show off the kids and Kate. No reality at all.
Kate supports those kids. If Jon gives her anything it is only a pitance.
