‘Bad Teacher’ is a new movie that stars Cameron Diaz, Justin Timberlake and Jason Segel. While it hasn’t been a box office hit or huge success with reviewers it has performed fairly well. The dark romantic comedy was able to come in 5th place on Friday’s box office list with $3 million.
‘Bad Teacher’ came in after ‘Transformers 3,’ ‘Horrible Bosses,’ ‘Zookeeper,’ and ‘Cars 2′ and has already made over $72 million at the box office. The movie is a fun watch and not as bad as most reviewers have made it out to be.
Movie Review of ‘Bad Teacher’
Cameron Diaz stars as a teacher who is leaving the school she works in after one year because she is marrying a millionaire. Unfortunately she is dumped because she spends too much of his money and goes back to her job as a teacher. She is a lazy, alcoholic, and poorly performing teacher who basically just shows movies while trying to woo a new teacher (Justin Timberlake) who she finds out is really rich. Jason Segel stars as the Physical Education teacher who is trying to woo her. While the movie doesn’t offer a realistic depiction of teachers (I hope not), state tests, and love, the actors all have good chemistry and it is a quite movie to watch. It does feel weird to be rooting for Cameron Diaz in the movie as opposed to her nemesis Lucy Punch.
‘Bad Teacher’ is still in movie theaters and looks like it should be in the top 5 for this weekends box office!
